Monday, December 17, 2018 - Similar to last note. Decanted 3 hours. Dark purple color. Ripe, Big & Bold but well balanced and smooth. Tannins are soft. Alcohol is high (15,2%) butis integrated nicely. No hot nose or taste. A fair amount of sediment in the bottle. This is not SQN. It’s a good wine but not great Bought a couple of bottles to try but I’m not inclined to buy more. I prefer the layers of flavors in Araujo Eisele and Alban Single Vineyards.
