Saturday, March 28, 2015 - HDH Burgundy Auction (Chicago, IL): Lovely, soaring aromatics, despite an initial underwhelming dirty earthy nose. The air has really cleaned out those unpleasant notes, and this is showing lovely red fruit and pure florals after a few hours of air. The palate still has some good tannic presence, but this is almost fully resolved at this point.
