Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - Torrontes - floral, perfume laden, tropical with lovely mouth feel and filled with decadent stone fruits; this wine is not any of that. I had high expectations for this bottle of value Torrontes given the acclaim awarded this producers Malbec, yet it totally falls flat. Aromatically challenged and the only tasting note I could make was that of summertime green grapes ($2.39 a pound at the Super) and a bit of light oak. Passss!
