Wednesday, February 17, 2010 - Opaque purplish ruby colored core...meniscus slightly pink. Black cherries , melted black licorice , crushed cinderblock aromas in the nose. Definitely Cali styled palate with ripe cherry flavors and toasty oak prevalent up front in a full weight. Mid palate shows tannic presence but also anise and dark chocolate and crispness. Long dry lingering finish.
