Sunday, October 7, 2007 - Clear, lemon mirinque core that leads out to a wide white rim with hints of lime green. The nose is clean and dominated by ripe pineapple, mango and papaya. Loads of tropical fruits in here, canned pear, peach, grapefruit and a bit of green grass. Smells good. The palate is medium sweet with the same above mentioned fruits. Tonnes of canned pear juice flavors and citrus. Moderate (-) acidity, medium + body, medium (-) alcohol. The finnish is average length with peach and pineapple lingering. A bit flabby....
Average quality. This wine was alot lighter in the mouth than the nose suggested. It took me a bit off guard. I'll take the Concha y Toro Late Harvest Sauv. Blanc at the same price point over this one anyday.
Drink now - 2009
