Friday, December 24, 2010 - Light ruby color with a sweet red cherry nose. Initially, I thought there was less to this wine. I liked the sweet red cherry, tart red cherry blend with some red candied licorice highlights, but the weight of the wine snuck up on me. Perhaps it was more noticeable 60 minutes after the bottle was opened. But there is more body to this wine than is obvious at first, and yet it maintains its light fruit presence.
