Friday, December 8, 2023 - Dinner at Victoria and Albert's. Took 30 minutes to completely open up. Beautiful dark ruby color and tremendous nose of cassis, blackberries, cherries, roasted espresso, pencil, roses, pipe tobacco with floral elements. Palate is medium bodied with blackberries, plums, currants, tobacco, truffles with suave tannins with long finish. Everything is very balanced and polished. Peak drinking for next 5 years.
