Friday, April 2, 2010 - 14.5% ABV. Dark black garnet, slightly translucent at the rim. Aromas of toast, cassis and a higher toned pepper and spice (anise?) note that harkens of Syrah. Full bodied, concentrated and palate coating with somewhat tangy red fruit midpalate. Pretty nice. No rush on these.
