Thursday, June 15, 2023 - This 'Lost Cellar' wine was opened for a birthday dinner for friends. It was opened 6 hours before serving. The colour was deep cherry red with some rust at the edges. The nose was a perfumed mix of wild strawberry, red cherries, Asian spice and ferruginous earth. The palate was soft and rounded with lovely balance and persistence. There was a perfect touch of red fruits that persisted right through the palate and which seemed to light up the structure perfectly. Quite delicious.
