Saturday, December 8, 2007 - Dark gold tending to amber. Perhaps getting past its prime although this botle has been carefully cellared. Heavy oak dominating the nose and palate. The fruit has receeded into the background and struggles to make it way out. The oak makes an almost tannic type finish somewhat bitter and disjointed. Frankly, just not very good at all. Maybe an off bottle from the beginning.
