Thursday, July 3, 2003 - ($25) Decanted about half the bottle. Very deeply colored with no evidence of clearing. Fragrant bitter cocoa, flowers, old wood pencils. Soft and fairly supple with lush, mouthfilling red fruit and velvety tannins on the tongue. Some lemony flavors. Hint of funky undergrowth and mint. At times this wine seems medium-bodied and at others medium-full bodied. 13% alcohol. Nice little Bordeaux.
