Wednesday, December 15, 2010 - Deep dark gorgeous black fruit. A heavyweight by all accounts. Tremendous length, sour cherries and blackberries. Palate coating viscocity, still a bit tannic as well as a touch hot; but this is early drinking for a wine of this pedigree. Sit on this one for 3 to 5 more years, but it has the stuff to last a decade longer. Bombastic, but nicely structured.....not easy to pull off.
