Sunday, July 10, 2011 - Drank from a 375ml. Pleasant red blend in which the firmer Cabernet grape prevails even though it is made up of 40% Syrah. A previous review describing the wine as angular fits the character of this bottle. Medium in body, firm tannins and dryness. A more serious wine than what I've had lately. It took about an hour in the glass to come into its own, but remains young. There is a certain coolness about WA wines in general that makes them pleasant to drink but not overly stimulating, special or complex, this one might be the slight exception.
