Thursday, June 21, 2018 - Last bottle and what a way to sign off...

Slow-oxed for almost 2 hours and then decanted and drank over 2 hours.

Appearance was in between garnet and pale ruby.
Nose was so inviting with floral violets, light spice and a whiff of mushroom - Aromatics were in full drive.

Finely poised and went down so smooth. There is a nice acidity to it that brings tension and red fruits and this is rounded off with some cigar box, earthy notes. Tannins are fully resolved and medium length finish.

This was probably the best of the 3 bottles i have had. Really enjoyed it.

Note: It began to decline towards the tail end so might want to start drinking if you have more than a few bottles to spare.
