Friday, September 18, 2009 - Drank over two days. The fist day I picked up sweet blue fruit, a hint of smoked meat, strained yoghurt. The wine was big but with a nice spine of acidity and a tinge of minerality on the finish. I found it a little unintersting on day1. On Day 2 however, there were some nice characteristics soming through, the fruit was obvioulsy mor in the background and the mineral streak was cranked up. I like where this is heading, but definitely needs a couple more years.
