Does it hit the absolute pinnacle of great wine? No, it doesn't. It has fruit, not dominated by oak. It has tannin, but not invasive. It isn't green (wait you mean wine isn't green). It's good, special and yet not transformative. I wish it were half the cost per bottle. Of course I wish I were 6 feet tall too.
