Tuesday, October 26, 2021 - Terroir Tuesday at TDS, A Reunion (Table Donkey & Stick, Logan Square, Chicago): Poured out a beautiful deep garnet color in the glass. Figs, purple plums, raspberry, herbs de provence (thyme stood out), with excellent acidity and ripeness in good check. Supple and engaging, the finish carried fruit and herbal flavors more than all others. This likely saw extended aging in very old foudre but as usual showed no signs of oxidation. Approaching plateau of maturity.
