90 Points

Saturday, April 5, 2014 - So glad I kept some of this, as it has been drinking well for years. Brick red with a moderately paling rim. Funky but sweet fruity nose, cedary bouquet with blackcurrents and cassis. Fully resolved on the palate, plums and currants, lots of sweet fruit playing off earthy/tobacco notes, very fine tannins. Well balanced and a lingering curranty finish. Very enjoyable.
