Tuesday, March 13, 2012 - Deep ruby color, much lighter at the edge. Raspberry, cedar, dried herbs, tobacco, cassis, with a little cherry and smoke on the easy going nose. Medium body with soft, ripe tannins and decent acidity. Sweet fruit and nice savory elements on the palate with just a bit of mint on the backend. Nice length on the finish which is more savory than fruity. A nice, elegant, restrained wine at this point.
