Saturday, March 18, 2017 - A nicely aged and unusually tasty Carignan from Sardenia, with a fine balance of fruit, acid, and tannin. The tannin is significantly less astringent and dusty, as well as softer and more rounded. The fruit now has a softer black plum, along with some blackberry. Overall, a Carignan that is as good as the best made in France.
