91 Points

Tuesday, April 12, 2011 - I agree with my previous tasting note on this wine, however, I may have overrated it slightly. Decanted and drank over 2 1/2 hours. Dark, opaque, garnet hue. Nice Washington Cab nose of crushed blackberries and ripe red cherries. Initially this wine did have some youthful tannic smells which completely blew off after the first hour of breathing. Enjoyable and easy to drink. Not overly complex, but it does have some layers to it. Smooth fruity midpalate with hints of black pepper. Short/Moderate finish with a nice little tannic bite. Drink now or over the next 6 years.
