Sunday, November 16, 2014 - Nose - Mature forest with wild berries and pine needles on the ground. My grandmothers curtains. Blackcurrant bushes, raisin box. Peppers. Hints of leather and barn.
Delicious taste of liquorice, leather and ripe fruit. Nice balanced between fruit and acidity. Development, development, development. Very exciting wine. Very good!
50 + 5 + 13.5 + 16.5 + 9 = 94p.
Tasted in a '85 flight with Mouton-Rothschild and Haut-Brion. All tasted blind.
