Very ripe prunes and raisins are nicely buffered by a powerful note of high end dark chocolate, a tint of orange peel and a nice gravelly, asphalt layered finish. Such a different experience from a standard red table wine, that while I wouldn’t want to drink this with great regularity, yet the break from the norm was a lot fun (I should mention there was a ton of sediment in this bottle).
