Wednesday, July 22, 2009 - American Syrah (Waterford Wines Milwaukee): much brighter in it's fruit expression on the nose than the Ojai 05 Roll Ranch. Chocolate paint!!! but i'm feeling it. black cherry and hints of straw on the nose. raspberry shows on the palate. a hint brighter in it's acid than the Ojai. Nice structure, but not quite the lingering finish of the Ojai.
