Saturday, October 30, 2010 - Broke this out for a non-special occassion dinner with the spouse. Decanted an hour ahead of time. Nose was intense and beautiful but the palate fell short. Three hours later it began to loosen up and turned out to be extremely enjoyable. Although dinner was finished I thoroughly enjoyed this by itself the rest of the evening. You'll be rewarded if you give this several hours of decant time before consuming.
