12/22/2013 9:12:00 PM - Beaucastel is always a solid bet. I enjoyed a 2008 tonight and for an average vintage this was a great wine. While not in the same class as '07, 09 and '10, it just further confirms that Beaucastel and the Perrin family understand the CdP blends and make the best possible wines in each vintage. While 2010 may not have garnished the highest accolades of the vintage, I am sure that it will come out very high as the years show the wines substance. Nice notes. i have 3 in the cellar and waiting until its in the prime drinking window. Looks like it getting close.
