Wednesday, December 9, 2015 - YES-sortof. Still youngish, but did not resolve my love-hate relationship with Bcastel. It is a very hard wine to find the right drink-time for; usually under-8-years is usually too soon, but sometimes 10+ can be tired. It is often very hard to get it with some secondary development; often mute. This one was a bit mute; clearly a big burly red (not rustic; classy burly) but a bit port-like (not a positive attribute in a red). You could tell it was good, but no real development. So, in the end, a bit disappointing. But, still a very good wine.
