Monday, September 5, 2022 - I just drank my last bottle, five and a half years after my previous note. While it's pale color seemed unchanged, it has unsurprisingly taken on some more mature notes. A slightly oxidative truffle scent showed initially, but with air, more typical sauvignon blanc character showed, including grassy, herbal gooseberry, citrus, and white flowers. Great cut and luscious mouthfeel made it a fantastic pairing with a creamy chicken dish. At peak to my palate.
