Wednesday, February 25, 2015 - Really [expletive deleted] good! Oxidative notes give everything a slightly baked quality, yet it remains totally weightless on the palate. Ripe grapefruit, lemon and a little baked apple are supported by wet stones and crisp acidity. The minerality on the finish lingers for a surprisingly long time. Great lesson in Sancerre's capacity to age.
