Friday, November 19, 2021 - Deep garnet to rim with a classic old Aussie bouquet of jujube fruit, leather polish and fresh, polished desk in amongst ripe dark berries, liquorice, marinated black plums and raisin.
Full-bodied, there is clear evolution but surprisingly, there is plenty of savoury, super-ripe fruit warming you inside. Excellent flavour intensity, with a fleshy core showing black pepper, sinewy liquorice and dried black fruits.
Classic old Shiraz, the tannins are sweet and grippy like a pepper rub with a long finish showing baked plums and pastry notes.
