Saturday, July 31, 2010 - Deep dark color. Was surprised to get a lot of barnyard on the nose--that and a little plums and olives. Don't get the barnyard on the taste. Palate is ripe black fruits (without feeling extracted), chocolate, and plum. There is some heat in transition from mid to finish. Finish is accentuated with a black tea finish. Was more into this taste profile a couple of years ago.
