Saturday, July 14, 2012 - Had in a vertical (2000. 2003. 2005. and 2009). Pale garnet. Showing nice development of secondary notes; leather, dried cherries, floral. Elegant in the mouth, smooth tannins, retaining good acidity but not overpowering. Silky mouthfeel.

Should be peaking now. Will continue to drink well for several years -- say to 2016.
