Saturday, October 8, 2005 - This was much more restrained compared to my last bottle from about six months ago. Perhaps it's closed down a bit? Decanted for 90minutes and it was really not giving off much initially. Real faint nose of earth and cedar, but not much fruit on the palate. However, still smooth and rather meaty in the mouth so it's very drinkable. After about 3 hours the nose comes on stronger and the dark fruits begin to emerge. Nice finish.
