Saturday, February 12, 2005 - The STG and Me take on 2001 Bordeaux (Susan's House, Seattle, WA): What a funky nose on this. Stinky. Some urine and ripe cheese. Reminds me on the nose of Bandol. Decent fruit, but again the horsey/sweaty profile comes through on the palate. Unique, especially in this tasting of young, "clean" Bordeaux. Enjoyable on its own terms.
