Sunday, April 30, 2006 - 1999 Pinot Noirs; 1/14/2006-12/31/2006 (All over the map...): Surprisingly (to me) one of my favorites of the 1999 Ken Wrights tasted recently, and clearly the one that was built to last. Still viscous and full, mostly black fruit flavors (black cherries, boysenberries) that sit atop a subdued core of earth and wood. Excellent mouth coating feeling, and a very persistent length in a nice, full, round wine.
