Saturday, May 23, 2015 - Académie des Cinquante Portugal Tasting (Diner Thuis, The Hague, NL): 100% Baga, aged for 18 months in new Allier barriques. Wonderfully pure Baga character, dusty and very tannic but good integration, lapsang, leather, soft fruit, slender, refreshing, lovely balance, very good length. Excellent wine, but lacks the complexity and charm for a higher score.
