Sunday, May 24, 2015 - 37th Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2010s (R&D's): At first the bouquet is slightly vegetal, but that blows off after a few minutes in the glass revealing dark fruit, meat, spice box and lavender. Dark berry fruit on the palate, along with pepper, spice and roasted game. Integrated and balanced with a lengthy finish. At peak IMO.
