Friday, October 30, 2009 - Briefly decanted. Quite hot, but settled down (a little) with time in the glass. Woody, brambly nose with tart cherry notes. When tasting, there was more wood than fruit, leaving a strong, sweet balsamic impression. Noticeably tannic. Not my favorite Asini, but still mouthfilling and full of personality. 86-87 when poured, 89 or so by the end.
