Monday, May 17, 2010 - Twist and pour ... Since we first purchased a case of this low-cost Shiraz last October, based on its high rating, it has smoothed out considerably. The alcohol is better-integrated, and the tannins no longer have "sharp" edges. This a very competent Shiraz, and, as everyone else has said, great QPR for the very low price tag (approx. $10/bottle). That being said, this is a very one-dimensional wine that is highly fruit-shy. There's nothing special or extraordinary about it. It's a decent table wine, but no more.
