Tuesday, July 26, 2005 - Pale gold color, a bit lighter than I had expected...on the nose, massive aromatics of roasted nuts, lime, mandarin orange, and wet rocks. On the palate, this is surprisingly open...I had thought it might be more closed but this is drinking great right now. Flavors of citrus fruits, honey (but this is bone-dry), nuts, and green tea, with nice underlying minerality. Went very well with some chevre.
