Monday, December 27, 2010 - Decanted one hour. Strong rich cherry flavors right away. Took about 2-3 hours to really open up but when it did, it was outstanding. Great balance of red fruits and oak, tannins are still a little strong but if you like a tannic grip it was perfect. Finish was very long also. This wine kept getting better as it breathed but just when it was peaking, all the wine was gone!! It has plenty of life left and it should only get better. But if you drink now, give it a decent decant.
