Wednesday, October 14, 2009 - Great little zin enjoyed last night with Asian food with CT wine buddy neighborbill and spouses. Urban East Bay winery with outsourced grapes from a single vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley. Very dark wine, well balanced, pleasant lingering aftertaste, drinking great right now. Muted nose with dark fruit and spice, primary flavors softer and more complex then expected with black pepper up front and subsequent plum, all spice and black currant. Very good, definitely recommend this wine, a great QPR wine.
