Saturday, October 1, 2011 - Great bottle. Decanted for 2 hours. My score may be a little hard as this was the fourth bottle after an Ornellaia, Carnival of Love and Catena Zapata, which were all spectacular. The Serre Nuove held its own with lighter red fruit flavors and still strong tannins, that did settle down after a few hours. Very smooth and enjoyable. Seems like this wine still has plenty of life left.
