Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Dinner at Bolt. Still impenetrable purple in color. No doubt this is from California as it is a massive fruit bomb yet it has an old world elegance to it. Black plums, vanilla bean, cassis and blackberries. Very full bodied with an extremely long spicy finish. Continued to open and expand its flavor profile throughout dinner. Drinking perfectly today but should continue to do so for at 15 more years. 50+14+15+9+9.5=97.5
