Saturday, October 31, 2009 - Deep purple/red in glass. Big cherry nose with lots of oak. Lush mouthfeel. Very fruity--bordering on being oversaturated--with acidity taking a backseat. Flavor profile is lots of dark cherry and grape, tons of oak, and some spice notes. Long metallic finish with dried fruit, rare meat, woodsmoke. 85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot. 12.5 % alcohol. Around $15.
