Wednesday, November 17, 2010 - Medium ruby color. Nice, but reserved nose with cherry, licorice, some white pepper, a bit of earthiness, and some vanilla. Medium body with soft tannins and good acidity. Short finish that shows a bit too much oak. Not bad, but not much more then a week night pizza wine. Did not stand up to some baked ziti.
