Saturday, January 10, 2015 - Bright red bordering on dark. Nose of cherry and spice with a hint of wood. Good depth, bright cherry fruit gushing out of this beauty framed judiciously with spice. Less restrained than a Burgundy but quite beautiful with foie gras/roasted pear and venison loin. Medium plus finish and the fruit did not quit. Very very enjoyable.
