Saturday, July 18, 2015 - Rich, luscious style brimming with pineapple and tropical fruit - this could have passed for an auslese. But it's still plenty crisp, even when it warms up, with a buzzing spine and a mineral edge that veers between slate and saltiness.
P.S. I'm looking back at my note from my first bottle in 2008 now, which I didn't read before writing this one, and I'm pretty floored how identical they sound. I guess this wine hasn't changed all that much in 7 years.
