Tuesday, February 2, 2021 - Decanted three hours. Intense black fruit still lively with notes of anise and Italian herbs. Long finish of smoky earth. These are exceptional Washington Syrahs that aren't for everybody but hedonists will love them. Balance? Who cares? Give me passion and lust and whatever other deadly sins you can conjure. First of three bottles bought at auction. Plenty of life left.
