Saturday, February 9, 2013 - Everything I've come to expect from Saxum - beautiful mouthfeel, deep everchanging flavors. Definitely found the gravel and Asian spices listed by others, along with cherries, creamy 50/50 bar, brussel sprouts, and an earthiness that smelled like a baked potato! (We couldn't believe it, either!)
Went beautifully with a lamb tangine and with a NY Steak in a rich herb sauce.
I would decant for at least an hour, but this bottle really hit its stride at about hour 2.
Can probably hold for several years but why would you want to?!
